On the Alternative Left
A continuation of the discussion regarding a reorganisation of the "alternative Left", something considered a very real problem that requires urgent attention. Neither the breaking up of existing forces nor the proposal of immediate organisational operations should be decided. What is needed instead is an immediate theoretical and practical tackling of the issue, with the objective of reaching an effective constituent process.!

IT IS ALSO THE FAULT OF THE SECULAR HUMANISTS
Certain important issues are touched upon by the searing debate surrounding Gay Pride. In the Catholic corner: an incorrect concept of "natural morality" which is reduced to the obsessive theme of sexuality. In the lay corner: an ethical relativism, that accepts differences without comparing them, creating the premise and providing the means for political opportunism.

Cancelled Identities
Not only mass movements interested in poverty and the environment are surging up against globalisation. Even in the world of the arts resistance towards the sterotypes imposed by the forces of cultural monopoly in the media is starting to emerge. Luciana Castellina and Manuel V·zquez Montalb·n tell us about this and reflect upon the issue.

CENTRES AND OUTSKIRTS
Capitalist history has always been characterised by the polarisation between dominant centres and periferies that historical Marxism has undervalued. Revolutions in the Twentieth Century have given a central role to polarisation while buffering the consequences and yet paying the price of economism and Stalinism. Globalisation now presents itself in different forms.
